ELMA, Wash., July 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Grays Harbor County Fair will demonstrate "how country feels" over five days of music, food, animals, exhibits and family fun Aug. 7-11 at the fairgrounds in Elma.
It's a real old-fashioned summer fair: from the 4-H animals and gardening/baking displays, to the amusement rides and games and musical entertainment for the whole family. And save room for all of the delicious fair food.

"There's headlining musical acts along with enjoyable family activities, exhibits, animals and shows, combining with returning favorites for the ultimate fair experience."

Lorrie Morgan is set for Thursday, Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. on the Pepsi Stage. Two popular bands will play the Fair on the Pepsi Stage, including Humptulips on Friday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m., sponsored by Bayview Building Materials of Elma, and Hotel California – a tribute to The Eagles – on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m., sponsored by Bud Light.
There's lots of other entertainment included with fair admission, including the WA Old Time Fiddlers (sponsored by PAPE Machinery), the Falconer Birds of Prey (sponsored by Les Schwab), Muriel's Petting Zoo (sponsored by Great NW Credit Union and Mattress Ranch), Capt'n Arrr Pirate Show, Goat Mountain and more. And of course, all of the popular animals, floral, garden and food displays throughout the grounds.
The raceway will roar with car racing on Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. – a Grays Harbor County Fair tradition – free with paid admission to the Fair, and sponsored by Grays Harbor Raceway.
The Grays Harbor County Fair runs August 7-11 at the fairgrounds in Elma. The Fair is affordable to everyone, with many admission discounts. Regular Fair admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (62+) and youth (6-15). Kids 5 and under are free every day of the Fair. The Grays Harbor County Fair honors current and former military personnel with a $2 Military Appreciation Discount available daily. Thursday is Kids Day, and all youth get a $2 discount off Fair Admission. Admission is free from 10-11 a.m. on Sunday of the fair – or $1 off all day with your Bi-Mart Card and photo ID. Parking is $5 per day. Carnival wristbands for unlimited rides are now available presale at the Fairgrounds Office for just $23 through Aug. 5 (a $5 savings) or $28 each during the Fair at the Carnival lot.
Fair hours are 10 am – 10 pm, Aug. 7-9; 10 am – 11 pm, Aug. 10; and 10 am – 5 pm, Aug. 11.
