DAVIS, Calif., Oct. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) Board of Directors has decided to install tiered pricing for individual and retired memberships of the global geothermal association. This means that in addition to the normal rate there are two other levels of discounted rates depending on a World Bank classification of the member's country.
It is now easier for members of the international geothermal energy community from around the world to support the GRC and enjoy the benefits of association.
An online listing of countries in the second and third tiers is available on the GRC website at: http://my.geothermal.org/docs/WorldBankTier2019.pdf. All countries not listed in the document are considered Tier 1.
The membership rates for 2020 for individuals are Tier 1: $130; Tier 2: $78, and Tier 3: $39. The rates for retired individuals are Tier 1: $65; Tier 2: $39, and Tier 3: $20. The membership rate for students is just $20 a year.
