Great River Energy Donates to Trusted Coaches
Spring Lake Park, MN (PRWEB) June 23, 2016 -- Great River Energy, based in Maple Grove, teamed up with Trusted Coaches and made a contribution to the youth sports organization. Located in Spring Lake Park, MN, Trusted Coaches training program represents a commitment to the community by providing the most comprehensive coaching training for all levels of youth sports.
Recently, Trusted Coaches launched a campaign to raise funds to assist organizations that need to train, educate, and screen their coaches through four components that are essential to a youth coach. These components include a nationwide criminal background check, concussion instruction, first aid training and character development training. “It is great to see a reputable Minnesota company like Great River Energy recognize our commitment to youth sports and our goal of better coaches, safer kids,” said Dawson Blanck National Sales Director for Trusted Coaches.
The goal for Trusted Coaches is to educate and train all youth coaches in the key areas that are required at the high school level but often over looked at the youth level. “I found it peculiar that high school coaches got the necessary training that they need but the youth coaches who influence our children the most, besides their parents, do not have any specific training options,” Blanck said. “I am proud of Trusted Coaches and its role in youth sports.”
Contributions like the ones made by Great River Energy supports youth programs that desire the Trusted Coaches training program and makes it possible financially. “Youth athletic programs are part of vibrant community and Great River Energy is thrilled to do our part in bringing these opportunities to our membership,” said Andrea Pendergast, communications coordinator at Great River Energy.
90 different youth sports organizations have purchased 5,000 memberships in the United States that focus on soccer, football, baseball, softball, lacrosse and other sports the first year 12 months of operation forTrusted Coaches. The program offers essential training, education, and screening necessary for a youth coach.
