WEST CHESTER, Pa., June 26, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Green Lawn Fertilizing and Green Pest Solutions were featured on the Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Places to Work list. This is the second year in a row the company has been featured on this prestigious list. The award goes to companies in the greater Philadelphia area who are dedicated to creating a positive work environment for their employees.

After being named a Best Place to Work in 2019 the company doubled down on its efforts to enhance the team member experience. Despite rapidly increased healthcare costs across the US, there was a zero dollar increase in team member medical benefits. A new and improved paid time off policy was introduced as well as a new wellness program, enhanced dental plan and benefit communications portal. There was also more than a $1M capital investment made for HQ renovations, new branch buildings in Lindenwold, NJ and Hillsborough, NJ, over 15 new trucks and new equipment.

The Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Places to Work list recognizes the best workplace environment created by the very best employers in the Greater Philadelphia area. Driven by employee feedback and voting, the 2020 edition of this prestigious list featured over 80 organizations. In order to qualify for this list, Green Lawn and Green Pest needed over half its team members to complete a ten-minute survey. That quota was hit in a little over a week and by the end of the survey deadline over two thirds of company employees completed the survey. The survey results were completely anonymous, although suffice to say, the overall team member feedback and ratings must have been very positive to land Green Lawn Fertilizing / Green Pest Solutions on the Best Places to Work list for the second year in a row.
