The event, titled "Cutting-Edge Employment Law Issues 2022: The California Difference," will take place at the 455 Market office complex in San Francisco's Financial District.
Hutner is co-chair of the event and will start the day with opening remarks and a panel titled "Year in Review/Hot Topics," providing an overview of important U.S. Supreme Court and appellate case law developments, new statutory and regulatory challenges, current trends for employment practitioners, and other key issues for 2023.
Person will present a session titled "Key Wage & Hour and Class Actions Updates in 2021," which will examine critical new court cases on class and collective actions and California Private Attorney General (PAGA) Act litigation. Additional topics include the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, other post-COVID wage and hour issues, and new statutes and regulations related to wage and hour and class action claims.
