Greenberg Traurig Houston Expands Corporate Practice with Addition of M&A Attorney Steven Rubin
HOUSTON (PRWEB) May 20, 2019 -- The Houston office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues the expansion of its corporate, finance and private equity capabilities with the addition of corporate finance attorney Steven Rubin. He joins Greenberg Traurig’s Corporate Practice as an of counsel.
Rubin’s arrival will aid in expanding the Houston office’s Corporate Practice in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, tender offers, proxy contests, restructuring, public and private equity and debt financings, and other international and domestic transactions, including transactions in Latin America. His practice will focus on transactions in numerous industries, including health care, energy, telecom, consumer products, insurance, financial services, restaurants and manufacturing.

Rubin started his legal career over 30 years ago at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP. He became a partner and worked at that firm, in both its New York and Houston office, for 23 years. Rubin also previously practiced with Greenberg Traurig Corporate Shareholder Carlos Treistman when they were both partners at King & Spalding. Treistman joined Greenberg Traurig in February.
