THR’s “Power Lawyers” list highlights the most influential attorneys in the entertainment industry, according to its website. THR’s editors extensively vet the attorneys who are negotiating the industry’s biggest deals and navigating its most impactful litigation to select 100 individuals for the “Power Lawyers” list.

Black is Vice Chair of the firm’s global Entertainment & Media Practice and Chair of the West Coast Entertainment & Media Practice. He has experience in the television, motion picture, and digital media arenas, having practiced law both in major studio and law firm settings. He has served as lead counsel on transactions with major motion picture studios and television networks, and for major internet content producing, licensing, and advertising entities. Black’s clients include production and distribution, internet, video game, and augmented reality companies, as well as advertising agencies, showrunners, and producers, along with on-air television and sports personalities.

Rosenbloum, Chairman of the firm's global Entertainment & Media Practice, is one of the leading attorneys globally in the field of digital media, entertainment, and technology. He represents dozens of leading technology companies and digital service providers that negotiate licensing deals with entertainment content owners. Rosenbloum has developed a wide-ranging legal practice, counseling more than 200 businesses, including Fortune 500 companies and prominent startups on their global digital media strategies. Rosengart, a shareholder in the firm’s Media and Entertainment Litigation Practice, is based in the Los Angeles office and is a former federal prosecutor, with substantial civil and criminal trial experience. A former law clerk to Justice David H. Souter on the Supreme Court of New Hampshire, he also served as a supervisory assistant United States attorney and Justice Department trial attorney, where he prosecuted a broad array of cases ranging from violent crimes to public corruption.

Rosengart has served as lead counsel in more than a dozen trials and conducted numerous complex federal grand jury investigations, including several of national and international significance, such as the investigation and prosecution of a United States Cabinet Officer and a central figure in the "China-Gate" federal campaign contribution/espionage cases. He further prosecuted a public corruption case commenced at the request of former Attorney General Janet Reno, in which he conducted examinations of several high-ranking government officials, including senior members of the United States Senate, the Justice Department, and The White House.
