Greenberg Traurig’s David R. Eastlake Receives Romina L. Mulloy-Bossio Achievement Award
(PRWEB) June 07, 2017 -- David R. Eastlake, an associate at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, is the 2017 recipient of the Romina L. Mulloy-Bossio Achievement Award as Outstanding Young Bankruptcy Lawyer in the state of Texas. He received the award from the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section Young Lawyers Committee. The award was created in memory of Ms. Mulloy-Bossio to honor an outstanding young Texas bankruptcy lawyer who exemplifies the highest degree of professional proficiency, service to the profession, and service to the community. Eastlake was honored during the Bi-Annual Bankruptcy Law Section, State Bar of Texas Bench/Bar Bankruptcy Conference, held May 31 – June 2, 2017 at The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio.

Eastlake was also selected as a 2017 “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine, Texas Super Lawyers. In addition, he became the Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee, Bankruptcy Law Section, State Bar of Texas on June 1, 2017.
Eastlake focuses his practice primarily on the representation of debtors in possession, official and ad hoc committees, significant creditors and secured lenders in complex Chapter 11 reorganization cases, Chapter 7 liquidations, out-of-court restructurings and commercial and bankruptcy-related litigation matters. In addition, he has experience in corporate transactions and corporate governance, including commercial financings, oil and gas transactions and other general corporate matters. His representations have ranged across a wide array of industries, including energy, oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, real estate, financial services, telecommunication and cable.
Eastlake earned his B.B.A. and Masters in Public Accounting degrees at the University of Texas at Austin, and his J.D., with honors, at The George Washington University Law School.
