Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is sponsoring Corporate Counsel Women of Color’s (CCWC) 14th Annual Career Strategies Conference. Shareholders Johnine P. Barnes, Obiamaka P. Madubuko, Nikki Lewis Simon, and Natasha L. Wilson will participate in the conference as panel speakers Oct. 10.

CCWC is a not-for-profit organization of women attorneys of color who have created a network to facilitate networking and promote career advancement of in-house women of color, as well as diversity and inclusion throughout the legal profession.

During the conference’s General Counsel Training Boot Camp, Barnes, Wilson, Simon, and Madubuko will each speak in breakout sessions:

  • Breakout 1: Barnes will speak on the panel “For Generation X: 10 Strategies to Identify Your Next Career Step”
  • Breakout 2: Wilson will discuss “How to Foster Healthy and Impactful Relationships With Those You Work With”
  • Breakout 5: Simon is a panelist on “5 Ways to Transition Out of the Law to Pursue an Alternative Career”
  • Breakout 7: Madubuko will present on “Image Is Everything: 5 Business Etiquette Strategies”

Wilson, based in the firm’s Atlanta office, is co-chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice’s Complex Employment Litigation & Trials Group and co-chair of the Atlanta Labor & Employment Practice. She devotes her legal practice to representing management in all aspects of employment law, from prevention and compliance issues to arbitration and litigation.
