NEW YORK (PRWEB) September 09, 2019
Richard A. Edlin, Vice Chair of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Chair of the firm’s New York Litigation Practice and Business & Regulatory Financial Services Litigation Group was recognized by The National Law Journal (NLJ) on its Masters of the Courtroom 2019 "Winning Litigators" list.
According to the NLJ, “this list acknowledges the most prominent litigators who won high-stakes cases in 2019.” Edlin was selected based on his success in representing a subsidiary of Korea Telecom in an action arising from the largest corporate fraud ever prosecuted in South Korea. In the NLJ feature of this winning style, he credits careful storytelling and a simplistic speaking approach as being key to this and his many other successful verdicts.
Edlin assists clients with a wide variety of litigation and routinely acts for companies and their management in areas such as securities, general commercial and contractual disputes, antitrust and intellectual property. He is currently working with leading financial institutions on matters arising out of the economic downturn and real estate collapse; intellectual property litigation for major electronics/consumer companies; for leading pharmaceutical companies involved in contract disputes; antitrust investigations; and for individuals involved in various commercial disputes.
Edlin’s leadership and work as a litigator have been widely recognized by many professional publications, including Chambers & Partners USA Guide to Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Lawdragon, Legal500, and Martindale-Hubbell. Edlin is a frequent lecturer on litigation strategy and is the author of Courtroom Strategies for Litigation Success.
