Greenberg Traurig’s Benjamin Aguilera Elected to Leadership Role in the Arizona State Bar
PHOENIX (PRWEB) July 17, 2019 -- Benjamin Aguilera, shareholder of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Phoenix office’s Corporate Practice, has been elected chair of the executive council of the Business Law Section of the Arizona State Bar for fiscal year 2019-2020.
This is the third time Aguilera has been elected to a chairperson role at the State Bar of Arizona. In the past, Aguilera served as chair of the executive councils of the State Bar of Arizona’s Securities Law Section (fiscal year 2002-2003) and International Law Section (fiscal years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014), serving two terms for the latter. Aguilera has wide-ranging experience in U.S. corporate, M&A, finance, and venture capital matters. In addition, he has experience with international transactions in Mexico, Central and South America, Spain, and Portugal in corporate, M&A, venture capital, finance, anticorruption protocols, hospitality, resorts, commercial and residential real estate, and mining matters. He has also coordinated litigation, tax, intellectual property, labor, and environmental matters in Mexico and Latin America.
