ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) October 25, 2018 -- Dawn I. Giebler-Millner, a shareholder in the Orlando office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was recently elected chair of the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors of the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute helps to raise funds through the Florida Hospital Foundation. These funds are earmarked to improve patient care with a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit that can save thousands of lives annually; improve family care through the hospital’s new family pavilion, which provides hope and healing to 25,000+ family members while their loved ones are in surgery or recovery; and help to improve uninsured care with the Trina Hidalgo Heart Care Center, which provides medical treatment to patients unable to afford care through traditional means.
“I’m looking forward to working with other members of the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute Board of Directors to help raise support and funding that will provide improved care for patients,” said Giebler-Millner. “We know that cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in this nation and we are privileged to have a great cardiovascular institute right in our own backyard that can provide the services and patient care that our residents need.”
