Stephen L. Rabinowitz, co-chair of the Real Estate Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, recently participated in a PERE roundtable discussion about the state of private equity investment in the U.S. commercial real estate market.
Rabinowitz was one of five global private capital markets professionals who discussed their perspectives on the impacts of persistent inflation, rising interest rates, and other economic headwinds on fund managers and clients. The roundtable participants also discussed real estate sectors that could present opportunities in a time of uncertainty, the adoption of environmental, social, and governance standards in the United States vs. Europe, and federal policy on creating more affordable housing.
