Greenberg Traurig’s Tampa Office Expands Intellectual Property & Technology Practice
MIAMI (PRWEB) June 21, 2019 -- Global law firm Greenberg Traurig has expanded its Intellectual Property & Technology Practice in the firm’s Tampa office with the addition of Shareholder Scott W. Doyle and senior Associate Vishesh Narayen.

Doyle serves as Chair of the firm’s International Trade Commission (ITC) Section 337 Litigation Practice. He focuses on patent and intellectual property infringement actions in U.S. district and appellate courts, the ITC, post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and state courts. He is a trained electrical engineer and registered patent attorney. Doyle is well known as a leading lawyer litigating complex intellectual property cases, handling IP and related matters in corporate transactions, efficiently developing patent portfolios to achieve strategic goals, and providing global technology, business, and legal strategic counseling. He also has broad experience in arbitrations and mediations involving patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property issues. Doyle handles litigation involving telecommunications, internet, digital cameras, computer hardware and software, automotive, photolithography machines, chemical compositions, medical devices, semiconductors, and biotechnology. He initially joined Greenberg Traurig’s IP & Technology group in 2018 in the Washington D.C. office after practicing in Washington with two major international law firms, most recently as head of his former firm’s IP litigation practice.
Narayen’s practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on high-stakes patent infringement litigation, trade secret matters, and litigation involving cutting-edge technology, as well as data privacy and cybersecurity litigation. He has represented clients in complex patent infringement litigation involving a variety of technologies and industries in forums across the United States, including in federal district court, post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. Narayen holds a degree in Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has a background in electrical and computer engineering and computer science with experience in a diverse array of technologies, from software, microprocessors, and semiconductor manufacturing, to orthopedic implants, medical devices, telematics, 4G LTE wireless communication, and vaccines. Vishesh joins Greenberg Traurig’s IP & Technology practice after a clerkship with the Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and seven years of IP practice at the Chicago office of a major international law firm.
