Griffiths Law PC Welcomes Two New Shareholders: Eliza Steinberg and Leslie Hansen

"She is one of the most brilliant and talented attorneys I have worked with. I personally mentored Eliza as she started her career as my paralegal in 2011, then attended law school at night, and has become a dedicated and experienced attorney. She continues to impress me and her fellow attorneys with her management and legal skills and we are excited to see her grow with the firm."
During her time as a paralegal with Griffiths Law, Eliza discovered her passion for helping people going through divorce and custody disputes. She worked her way through law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law while working full time at Griffiths Law. She has been an Associate Attorney at Griffiths Law for three years.
Eliza was named one of Law Week Colorado's "Up and Coming Lawyers" in 2019. She has been named as one of SuperLawyers "Rising Stars" two years running and most recently was added to Best Lawyers in America "One's to Watch" for 2021. Her practice is focused exclusively on family law related matters including divorce, allocation of parental rights, post-decree disputes, and child support matters.

Eliza is a board member for the Colorado Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division Executive Council. She is active in the community, serving as a volunteer attorney with ALIGHT (Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking) and a committee volunteer for the Colorado Judicial Institute. Eliza continues the firm's dedication to mentoring young women in the legal profession by working with the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Professional Mentoring Program. Much like Suzanne Griffiths mentored her, Eliza also mentors paralegals and junior associates advance in their careers.

Leslie Hansen
"Leslie Hansen is an outstanding attorney who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm." said Suzanne Griffiths, Co-Founder of Griffiths Law. Leslie has over 17 years' experience as a district attorney and worked in two different district attorney's offices both as a Deputy District Attorney and as the Assistant District Attorney. In that role she handled hundreds of criminal cases and conducted dozens of jury trials, including ten first degree murder trials. She has since transitioned into the world of family law, but her strong background in litigation continues to serve her and her clients. When litigation is necessary, Leslie has the experience and the skill set to prepare for trial and effectively advocate for her clients.
Leslie's excellent work as an attorney has earned her recognition in the legal field. For three years in a row, Leslie has been named a Colorado SuperLawyer, an honor given to attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. She has additionally been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for four years running.

In this role, Leslie uses her deep knowledge of criminal and family law to help crime victims and their families. Leslie's immense compassion drives her to continually look for ways to help those in need of advocacy.
