Groundworks Companies Appoints Former Executive of Terminix and Sears Home Services to Newly Created President Role
Mike Irby, a 20-year business to consumer, home services professional, has joined Groundworks Companies to serve as President.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Oct. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Groundworks Companies announced today that seasoned home services executive, Mike Irby has joined Groundworks to serve as President. Irby, a 20-year business to consumer, home services professional, will oversee the Groundworks Executive Leadership team in driving sales and operational enhancements. Irby will also work closely with the Groundworks University division to ensure employees are equipped with the proper resources and tools to support the organization's commitment to delivering world-class customer service, the core components of the company's aggressive growth strategy.
Irby, a Memphis TN native, entered the home services sector as a branch manager for ServiceMaster subsidiary, Terminix International, where he rose through the ranks to achieve the level of Divisional Vice President. During his tenure, he led several large divisions of Terminix and TruGreen, where he spearheaded major initiatives that drove substantial improvements in revenue and profitability for the companies.
Prior to joining Groundworks Irby most recently served as the Senior Vice President for the West Division of Sears Home Services where he was able to successfully increase both earnings and customer satisfaction across 60 locations and 18 state divisions.
