The GTMRx Board of Directors voted earlier this month to approve the appointment of Susan M. Huang, MD, MS, to the GTMRx board. As Chief Medical Officer and as a key member of America's Physician Groups (APG) leadership team, Dr. Huang is the lead contact with APG's member organizations on clinical matters related to their participation in value-based care. Along with APG's Washington, DC-based, and California-based policy and advocacy teams, she serves as lead clinical liaison with federal and state agencies, hospitals and health systems, health plans, and other organizations. Dr. Huang oversees the collection and sharing of APG member best practices and analyses of member data demonstrating APG groups' strong performance and accountability for costs and quality of care.
APG is a national association representing more than 360 physician groups with approximately 170,000 physicians providing care to nearly 90 million patients.
