CHICAGO, Feb. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Half Day CBD, a family-run hemp processor and one of the first CBD manufacturers in the Midwest, is pleased to announce it will exhibit at more than 100 community events through the end of the third quarter of 2020. Next on the schedule for the Half Day team is the Chicago Golf Show in Rosemont from February 28 to March 1.
Since launching in August of 2018, the company has gained a loyal customer base largely through grassroots marketing. They have utilized street festivals and other popular events to engage potential customers and strategic partners. While onsite, they offer samples of Half Day oils, gummies and topical products, and co-founders Dave DiCosola and Kameron Norwood share their in-depth of knowledge of CBD and its benefits for a range of common health conditions, such as stress, anxiety and sleep disturbances.
"We know that consumers are confused about hemp and unsure how to choose the right products for their particular needs," explained Dave DiCosola, Half Day CEO. "By being onsite at events, from music festivals to holiday markets to the upcoming golf show, we have the opportunity to answer a wide range of questions on topics such as CBD vs. THC-products, effective dosing and best uses of the various formulations."
On average, Half Day will be attending approximately 12 events per month throughout the Midwest, and in order to be in so many places, the company is hiring contract employees for their activation team. The summer months will be the busiest with Half Day appearing at as many as five events in any given weekend.
"We love getting out of our office whether it's to visit farms, meet with partners, present at industry events or exhibit at a festival," said Half Day COO, Kameron Norwood. "We're excited for the Chicago Golf show where we'll be able to talk one-on-one with golf enthusiasts about the benefits of CBD. When the World Anti-Doping Agency removed CBD from its list of banned substances in January of 2019, several pro athletes, including those with the PGA TOUR, began using CBD products. We hear from many of our customers who lead active lifestyles that our products are an important part of their daily regimen."
Pioneers in the industry, DiCosola and Norwood are involved in every aspect of the production process. They source their hemp from farmers in Illinois and manufacture the products in Chicago. All products are rigorously tested by an independent laboratory to ensure consistency, potency and safety, and complete information, including plant origin, processing method, bottling information and more, is available on the brand's website, HalfDayCBD.com.
