Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 22, 2015 -- Hallberg Insurance Advisors, a Chicago-based insurance firm that provides coverage for hundreds of families and businesses in the Chicago area, is launching a new charity drive to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The ongoing mission of the National Breast Cancer Foundation's is to offer help and inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer, to provide both support services to cancer survivors, and to offer preventative breast cancer assistance via education at the community level. NBCF also sponsors a National Mammography Program that provides mammogram services to women who are uninsured or who cannot afford them.
“Breast cancer is very treatable if it’s caught early, and this charity drive will help ensure that women in Chicago have access to mammography services,” says Tom Hallberg, owner and principal of Hallberg Insurance Advisors.
To help publicize the charity event, Hallberg and his team have constructed an online social media presence and launched an email awareness program to reach families in the Chicago area. In addition to supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their efforts to promote breast cancer awareness, the Hallberg Insurnace team has assisted a number of other Illinois-based charities in the past year, and plans to work with at least one new charity every two months going forward.
