“At the Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville Downtown, we are committed to providing for the safety of our guests and associates in the midst of this pandemic,” says General Manager Brad McCreedy.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (PRWEB) October 01, 2020
The Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville-Downtown joins local lodging partners in the “Visit Gainesville, Alachua County Safe Stay Pledge,” which aims to show a unified commitment to the health and safety of those who live, work, and visit Alachua County. In partnership with Visit Gainesville and the Alachua County Hospitality Council, the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown-Gainesville along with 32 local lodging partners agree to follow CDC Standards of cleaning and sanitation and adhere to practices such as wearing face coverings and following social distancing and capacity guidelines.
“At the Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville Downtown, we are committed to providing for the safety of our guests and associates in the midst of this pandemic,” says General Manager Brad McCreedy. “All associates have been trained in the proper cleaning protocol for our guests, utilizing Hiltons Clean Stay initiative as our model. From PPE to cleaning procedures in our hotel, our complete focus is on maintaining a safe environment for everyone. This focus will allow Gainesville to continue its pledge of a safe stay when visiting our city.”
The Safe Stay pledge also aligns with the Hilton CleanStay and EventReady initiatives. Hilton EventReady with CleanStay was initiated as a direct response to event planner customer requests for solutions around cleanliness, flexibility, safety and sustainability. This industry-leading meetings and events program is the next phase of Hilton CleanStay and is being implemented by Team Members at the hotel, as well as Hilton hotels around the world.
“At all times, and especially during the time of COVID19, the Alachua County Visitors and Convention Bureau provides the information and tools that our visitors need to navigate our destination,” said Tourism Development Manager, Jessica Hurov. “The Safe Stay Pledge is another way to provide information to help inform the personal travel choices that individuals need to make during their stay.”
The Hampton Inn & Suites is set in the heart of Gainesville, Florida’s historic downtown – central to dining and entertainment, and a five-minute drive from the campus of University of Florida. The hotel features 1,800 sq. ft of divisible meeting space and 124 guest rooms & suites.
