The Award is Given to Long Island's Most Influential Women in Business, Government, and the Not-for-Profit Field
SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y., Oct. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On October 24, 2019, Aleksandra Kardwell, together with 49 other honorees, received a Long Island Business News 2019 Top 50 Women in Business Award. The award was presented at an elegant dinner at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Top Long Island business leaders attended the event, including keynote speaker Karyn Schoenbart, CEO of the Port Washington-based NPD Group.
The Top 50 Women in Business award program was launched in 2000. According to Long Island Business News (LIBN), the program recognizes "Long Island's top women professionals for their business acumen, mentoring and community involvement." Moreover, "the program's honorees are selected by a judging committee" that selects "the most influential women in business, government and the not-for-profit field."
This year's group of Top 50 Women in Business Award recipients includes many entrepreneurs and other business leaders in a wide range of fields, such as financial services, law, marketing, health care, and the not-for-profit space.
