Orelvis Vazquez is stepping up into the role of Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Orelvis served as Vice President of Technology, overseeing all software development and implementation efforts at Handtevy. He's a successful builder of high performing teams focused on software engineering, product management, quality assurance, data analysis, systems integration, cloud operations and corporate IT.

Patrick Bavaro is moving up as Vice President of Business Development. Patrick is a seasoned sales professional with exemplary expertise in the complete sales cycle to secure new clients and maintain existing business. For the last seven years, Patrick has held several sales positions within Handtevy, most recently as Regional Sales Director. Patrick's technical background as a firefighter/EMT makes him uniquely suited to share Handtevy's benefits with EMS agencies and hospitals worldwide.

Seasoned healthcare executive Michael Forrester joins the team as Vice President of Operations. Michael will provide leadership to Handtevy's growing team through implementing and enforcing policy and procedures, best practices, efficiency, communication, while maintaining high employee morale. For the last 12 years, Michael has been involved in healthcare leadership, most recently as an Executive Director for local senior living communities. Michael previously worked for The Florida Department of Health and The Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration where he was a part of the legislative affairs (DOH) and enforcement (AHCA) leadership teams providing guidance and quality assurance statewide.

Handtevy was founded by Peter Antevy, M.D., a nationally recognized expert in the field of pre-hospital pediatrics. He is passionate about improving both adult and pediatric pre-hospital care and evaluating and improving upon currently accepted medical practice. He is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and also serves as the EMS Medical Director for Davie Fire-Rescue, Coral Springs Fire Department, Southwest Ranches Fire Rescue and American Ambulance. Dr. Antevy is also the Associate Medical Director for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and serves as the President of the Greater Broward EMS Medical Directors' Association, an organization whose providers serve the 1.5 million residents of Broward County, Florida. For his efforts, Dr. Antevy was awarded the prestigious Raymond H. Alexander EMS Medical Director of the Year Award in 2014 and in 2018 he was named National EMS Medical Director by the NAEMT. He also was honored as one of the 2015 Top Ten Innovators in EMS by JEMS.
