Hangzhou Officials Visits UNPay Office to Discuss Business Collaborations
The objective of the visit which was part of the government's initiative to attract investors and stimulate entrepreneurship in the province, was led by Wei Daqing, the Deputy Mayor of Xiaoshan.
SINGAPORE, July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hangzhou officials visited UNPay's office in Beijing last week to discuss potential collaborations on developing Xiaoshan─a district of Hangzhou that is the capital of Zhejiang province─into a high-tech hub. The objective of the visit which was part of the government's initiative to attract investors and stimulate entrepreneurship in the province, was led by Wei Daqing, the Deputy Mayor of Xiaoshan. Prior to this, top officials from Jianggan District, as well as heads from The Science and Technology Bureau, Financial Bureau, the Bureau of Commerce, and the China Merchants Bureau had also visited the UNPay office to discuss possible collaborations in developing smart cities in their respective regions.
During the meeting, the CEO and Founder of UNPay, Zhang Zhenghua, explained to the Deputy Mayor on how UNPay's unique core payment system can provide an intelligent one-stop integrated payment solution to merchants around the world. At the same time, the Chinese city is investing hundreds of millions of Yuan to build it into a world-leading information technology centre. To ensure that provinces like Xiaoshan keeps pace with the rapid technological development of Hangzhou, the province is keen to attract the best technology talents in its bid to transform it into a smart city.
