LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Up in Your Business with Kerry McCoy radio show will air a pre-recorded interview with female Harlem Globetrotter Hoops Green this Friday, January 18th at 2p.m. on KABF 88.3FM. The show normally broadcasts live but this week it will feature a pre-recorded interview due to Green's busy schedule.
Green joined the Harlem Globetrotters in 2017, one of only 15 women to ever be on the team during its 93-year history. She started her basketball career as many do in high school in Kentucky and went on to a great career in college at the university of Texas – El Paso where she racked up 650 career points before playing professionally overseas.
Prior to becoming a Globetrotter, Green spent time coaching and mentoring youngsters and says that becoming a member of the iconic team was inspirational to her. "I have always wanted to have a positive impact and be able to make someone smile. Basketball gives me the opportunity to reach out and inspire the youth. Especially being a female player, it allows young girls to believe in themselves."
