Harris School Solutions Launches PA Version of Financial Management Software
BETHEL PARK, Pa. (PRWEB) February 06, 2018 -- Harris School Solutions (HSS), the premier provider of technology solutions for K-12 districts, charter schools, and continuing education programs across North America, has launched a new PA-optimized version of its SmartFusion software for comprehensive School Financial Management.
The Pennsylvania version of SmartFusion features all of the state’s required reports built into the system upon purchase, so no additional updates are required for users to maintain compliance with Pennsylvania School Financial accounting and state reporting. Furthering the convenience for Pennsylvania users, SmartFusion also features a consolidated reporting process that requires fewer clicks and steps.
Included among the built-in Pennsylvania reports are NPAS, PIMS (including Safe School and SupPer), EIT (Act 32), LST / Occupation Tax, PDE-2028 Annual Budget Report, and PDE-2057 Annual Financial Report.
In addition to the new PA version of SmartFusion, Harris School Solutions also has brought on industry expert Kristin Eckels to work directly with schools across the state in assessing their financial software needs and discerning whether SmartFusion is a fit for each individual Pennsylvania school or district.
Eckels, who herself earned several Business degrees at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, has taught a range of subjects at a number of Pennsylvania high schools, including Business Education at Mt. Lebanon School District and, most recently, Computer and Information Technology at Elizabeth Forward.
On the business side, Eckels has conducted sales for international brands such as Rodan & Fields and has run her own independent business.
Now, Eckels plans to use her unique blend of experiences across Sales, entrepreneurship, and teaching/Education to help equip the schools in her home state with the tools they need.
