MIAMI, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Haute Living took to the swanky EAST, Miami hotel's exclusive Tea Room to celebrate cover star and Latin music sensation Natti Natasha with Buchanan's Whisky. It was a big night for the beautiful superstar, as she was celebrating her Haute Living Miami cover launch on the eve of the highly-anticipated Premio Lo Nuestro Awards presented by Univision at Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena—where she's up for a record-breaking 15 nominations—the most out of any other artist at the show. Additionally, she'll be doing three performances throughout the night, and is also coming off of her first solo album debut, IllumiNATTI, which released last week to high acclaim.
Natti shared with Haute Living in her exclusive cover story how humbled she was to be going through such groundbreaking moments in her life, and how thankful she was to be in this place after years of hard work and trying to make a name for herself in the music industry, particularly in the male-dominated reggaeton circuit. "Being recognized as a professional by other males is the hardest thing that women have been able to do," she shared. She also noted that in light of the current climate of women's empowerment and shedding light on the demons in the entertainment industry, her career has changed completely. "Before then, it was much harder to be heard as a woman. Now, everything is changing, and it's for the better. Women have a voice; they're empowered and they're heard. The future is bright—very bright."
And it was, indeed, an evening of great celebration for Natti Natasha. Guests mixed and mingled throughout the sexy Tea Room as they enjoyed specialty cocktails from Buchanan's including the Breeze of Miami with Buchanan's DeLuxe, coconut water, lemon juice and fresh watermelon; Viva La Mujeres with Buchanan's DeLuxe, orange juice, lemon juice and jalepeño simple syrup; and the New Fashioned with Buchanan's Special Reserve, sweet vermouth, chocolate bitters and Angostura bitters. Additionally, attendees indulged in gourmet canapes from the Tea Room's signature Asian nighttime brunch menu including Tamarind Duck Buns, Bangbang Shrimp, Lobster Roll sushi, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Shiitake Rolls, Bombay Lamb Skewers, Hagao & Siumai Combo dumplings and so much more.
The night came to a beautiful close as Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani invited Natti Natasha to the front of the room to give a toast in her honor as he raised his Buchanan's Whisky cocktail and thanked her for joining the group for the celebratory evening and wishing her good luck at what could be one of the greatest days in her career the following evening. Natti also addressed the group. "I want to thank you for believing in me—a woman, representing Latinas around the world for your cover—that's a huge support and I know all of us here are thankful for that. What I have now is the result of a lot of work, consistency and trust and love for what I do, and I'm sure you guys love what you do as well, so thank you for making me a part of that."
After, the final presentation was made—a gorgeous, two-piece set of Chanel paintings by street artist Skott Marsi, gifted to the star to congratulate her on all of her success between the cover launch, album launch and award show nominations—as well as leading a wonderful example for females all over the world. After a round of applause and clinking glasses, guests departed after a wonderful evening of celebration.
