FAIRMONT, W.Va., Sept. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Hawaii Department of Health has awarded Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC (HMS) a multi-year contract to conduct federal initial certification and recertification surveys, follow-up revisit surveys, and complaint investigations at Medicare-eligible health care facilities as requested by the Office of Health Care Assurance in accordance with established federal regulations and standards. These facilities may include;
- Hospitals
- Skilled nursing facilities,
- Ambulatory surgical centers,
- End-stage renal disease facilities
- Hospices, and
- Home health agencies.
Initial certification and recertification surveys include health care surveys, life safety code surveys, and emergency preparedness surveys as well.
