Health iPASS Introduces Patient Intake Forms Management

New Patient Pre-Check With Quickforms Feature Modernizes the Waiting Room Experience

OAKBROOK, Ill., Jan. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Health iPASS today announces an expanded pre-arrival feature set, Patient Pre-Check with Quickforms, that completely digitizes pre-arrival patient intake. Patients can now receive interactive appointment reminders (unlimited voice, email, and SMS), confirm their appointments, verify their demographic information and benefits, capture a profile image, make payments, and complete all patient intake forms before they arrive at the provider's office from their own devices.

All required patient intake actions are sent to the patient several days before an upcoming appointment as an appointment reminder email or SMS. Additional voice reminders can also inform/remind the patient. Fully configurable, client-specific forms and documents (medical history, HIPAA release forms, financial policy, disclosures/consents, etc.) can be configured based on set rules and sent to the patient several days prior to an appointment. Follow-up reminders are sent to patients who still need to complete the intake process.

Patient Pre-Check with Quickforms will change the look and feel of provider waiting rooms forever while also reducing paperwork and manual data entry tasks for provider staff.

Patients can then fill out the required forms from their own devices at their convenience. Quickforms also enable patients to use the autofill feature, further reducing the time it takes to complete the forms. Practice staff can access and view forms as soon as they are completed through the Health iPASS Dashboard.

If the patient has not filled out the required forms upon their arrival, staff can instantly send them via email or SMS to be filled out at that time, still on the patient's own device. Completed forms are written back to practice management systems and/or the patient's electronic medical record. Discrete data write-backs at the field level are available for some systems or saved in the Health iPASS Dashboard for other systems.
