LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Health economist, industry advisor and author Jane Sarasohn-Kahn takes the stage today at the 53rd Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020) in Las Vegas, Nevada, to talk about the digital evolution of today's health consumer.
In her new book, HealthConsuming: From Health Consumer to Health Citizen, Sarasohn-Kahn describes the Amazon-"priming" of health consumers and tracks the growing expectations of consumer experience levels tied to digital tools and devices. Digital connections enable virtual care, telehealth and self-care, increasingly outside of bricks-and-mortar hospitals and doctors' offices.
