HeartcoR Solutions appoints Dennis Bergau as Vice President of Clinical Operations

Bergau brings over 35 years of expertise in medical and pharmaceutical industries to the rapidly growing HeartcoR team

Bergau brings more than three decades of experience in life sciences, information technology, and business consulting to HeartcoR Solutions. He holds affiliations in academic medicine, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, and has worked as a laboratory technician and teaching assistant at a large national university.

Prior to joining HeartcoR Solutions, Bergau served as a representative for the Cardiovascular Interdisciplinary Scientific Advisory Group at a large pharmaceutical company. In this role, he worked across several cross-functional teams to deliver software innovation, clinical study restructuring, and diversity and inclusion development. In addition to his work experience, Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology & Biological Sciences, a Masters in Physiology, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. His doctoral thesis was focused on Artificial Intelligence, using pre-clinical gene expression information to predict cardiac arrhythmia liability of pharmaceuticals in humans.
