Helping Veterans Succeed: PrimePay Launches Giveaway to Support Veteran Business Owners
New contest to spotlight veteran-owned businesses nationwide
WEST CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PrimePay, LLC, a nationwide payroll and HR provider, has teamed up with veteran business owners across the country to support our nation's military veterans.
Launched on Nov. 12, PrimePay combined generous donations from eight veteran-owned companies with Amex gift cards to create two gift baskets to give away. Winners of the contest will keep a box for themselves and give one to the veteran that they've identified.
Included in the giveaway is: Fort Worth, Texas-based Bearded Buffalo, Fayetteville, NC-based Ballash Woodworks, Fort Smith, Arkansas-based ArkWraps, Louisburg, NC-based Lucky3Farm, Lenox, GA-based The Canary's Nest Candle Company, Denver, Colorado-based Morgan Handmade Rations, Hendersonville, TN-based Valor Bands, and Texas-based Grill Your Ass Off.
These veteran-owned companies donated their products so that each of the gift boxes will include:
- One of Ballash Woodworks' end grain cutting boards.
- Three bags of Morgan Handmade Rations chips.
- A 'Proud American' vinyl sticker from ArkWraps Designs.
- One of the Canary's Nest's candles.
- A ValorBAND.
- One package of beef jerky from Gill Your Ass Off.
- Bearded Buffalo's beard oil sample kit.
- One candle and wax tarts from Lucky 3 Farm.
- A $100 Amex gift card from PrimePay.
"It's great to see all of the veteran-owned companies that contributed their unique products to our 2018 Veteran giveaway. We are honored to work with them and learn more about their story," said PrimePay CEO, Bill Pellicano.
PrimePay recently found success in a contest where it partnered with Philadelphia-based coffee company, Horn & Hardart. Stemming off that, this new contest will be social media driven as well. PrimePay expects to see increases in social engagement for all the companies involved.
"As a Wounded Warrior, I love what you are doing with your initiative and I hope even more comes from this donation," SFC Joseph James, United States Army – Retired, and co-founder of ValorBands.
Together with all these companies, PrimePay hopes to bring some extra attention to veteran-owned businesses around Veterans Day and continue through the holidays.
"PrimePay is committed to military veterans. We recently launched a Veterans in Business initiative, in which I'm excited to lead and work closely with veteran small business owners and help them run their business smoothly," explained Monty Heath, U.S. Navy SEAL and the Director of Veterans in Business at PrimePay.
In addition to our philanthropic efforts, featured stories on veteran-owned clients, and sponsoring organizations like Bunker Labs, we hope this giveaway will further solidify our support for the veteran community.
