Here TV Premieres Underground: Palm Springs Produced by Emmy-Nominated David Millbern
Here TV, America's first and largest LGBTQ+ video channel, today announced the September 13th premiere of the PALM SPRINGS episode of the anthology series Underground written and directed by Emmy ‐nominated director‐producer Billy Clift, created by two‐time Emmy‐nominated actor‐producer David Millbern, and hosted by Charlie Harding.
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Underground: Palm Springs is unlike any other travel show out there. Host Charlie Harding shows you what to see, where to eat and where to go out for fun while providing historical context on how Palm Springs became a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Underground series is a living, breathing, travel guide that can be accessed for each city/episode we've explored on all HERE TV platforms, says Millbern.
"Palm Springs is a super social, ultra‐friendly good time," says host Charlie Harding. "I love Underground because we take you where the locals go, not just where the guide books tell the tourists to visit."
This episode also features Palm Springs Pride, one of the largest in California, and a special screening for locals will take place at QUADZ Palm Springs on September 10 from 5 – 8:30 PM.
Underground: Palm Springs was executive produced by Paul Colichman and Stephen P. Jarchow, who have produced and distributed more than 200 films and series including Academy Award‐winners "Gods and Monsters" and "Departures."
Here TV (http://www.here.com) launched in 2004, making it the world's first SVOD LGBTQ+ video service, and is available on all major US cable operators including Xfinity, Spectrum, Cablevision, FiOS, U‐Verse, Cox, as well http://www.here.tv where it can be viewed on all iOS and Android mobile devices. Here TV reaches millions of viewers each month and has produced Academy award-winning films in addition to receiving four Daytime Emmy Award nominations.
