Heritage Celebrates Successful Parade of Homes with 10 Awards & 10 Sales
Wake Forest & Rolesville, NC (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- Heritage announces a successful close to the 48th Annual Wake County Parade of Homes presented by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County. The master-planned golf community in Wake Forest and Rolesville boasted 17 entries – the most in one community – won 10 awards out of 16 judged homes and sold 10 of the homes before the event closed on October 20. The HBA recognized Parade of Homes winners at the Awards Show Wednesday evening, October 16, at the Raleigh Convention Center.
For the first time in Wake County Parade of Homes history, L&L of Raleigh swept Category 7 for the $381,935 - $399,900 price range by taking gold, silver and bronze for three homes in the Heritage Gates and Heritage Cornerstone neighborhoods. Six more Heritage builder team members were also recognized with awards. Medallion Construction received gold for the Heritage Gates home in Category 6: $339,000 - $368,900. Cityscape Builders of Raleigh received gold for the Heritage Woodlands home in Category 11: $470,000 - $529,900. L&L of Raleigh also received bronze for the Heritage Cornerstone home in Category 6: $339,000 - $368,900.
“Often we say, go for sold over gold. This year, we were successful on both fronts,” says Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “Selling 10 of 17 homes and then winning 10 awards supports what we already know – our community offers new home buyers the homes and lifestyle they desire. I believe buyers confirmed this with their dollars and our industry confirmed it with these awards. We’re appreciative to all of them.”
Eleven Heritage builders showcased a variety of floor plans – many of which are located in a collection of four new neighborhoods in the Rolesville section of the community. Since the close of the Parade of Homes, two other Heritage entries have sold -- bringing the final sales tally to 12 homes. Please see the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County press release for the complete listing of Parade award winners.
