Heritage Woods of Noblesville Assisted Living and Memory Care Community Hosts Informational Sessions
BRADLEY, Ill. (PRWEB) January 24, 2019 -- Heritage Woods of Noblesville, an assisted living and memory care community under construction, is hosting two informational sessions designed to help Indiana seniors and their families learn more about the community and the services it will offer.
The informational seminars will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29 and 11 a.m. on Feb. 7 at the Sagamore Golf Course, 10900 Golden Bear Way in Noblesville.
“We invite older adults from Noblesville and throughout Hamilton County to learn more about the benefits of living in our community and how they can age in place financially,” said Heritage Woods Administrator John Robinson.
These events are open to the public, and there is no charge to attend.
Lunch or dinner will be served during the sessions.
Guests should reserve their seats by calling 317-770-6061.
The community, which is located on more than three acres of land at 9600 E. 146th Street in Noblesville, is expected to open this spring.
The four-story, 105,000 square-foot building will house 124 private studio and one-bedroom apartments.
Each of the assisted living apartments at Heritage Woods of Noblesville will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning units, and an emergency alert system.
In addition, Heritage Woods will have a large community room, a private dining room, sun rooms, walking paths in beautifully landscaped courtyards, a library, computer lounge, onsite general store and other amenities.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Part of the community – White Oaks at Noblesville – will be dedicated to memory care, catering to older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. This specialized program will provide opportunities for residents to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the seasons of dementia.
“We focus on abilities rather than limitations because we understand that as we age our hearts, hopes and desires do not,” said Rod Burkett, CEO of Gardant Management Company.
Residents in the memory care community will be able to take advantage of a hobby hut, which features several activity areas and living room lounges, a separate salon, covered patio areas to relax in, cozy fireplaces in living areas and a large café near an enclosed walking path.
Heritage Woods will further expand Gardant’s mission of providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the help with medications and personal assistance they need, Burkett added.
Gardant manages several Indiana communities, including Belvedere Senior Housing in Merrillville, Glasswater Creek of Lafayette, Hellenic Senior Living in Indianpaolis and New Albany, Oasis at 30th and The Lodge at Summers Pointe in Winchester. Glasswater Creek of Plainfield, Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart and Oasis at 56th in Indianapolis are new projects currently under construction.
