LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jon Harrison Taylor and Terri Cecil of Hey Pete Productions are proud to present an exclusive viewing of Sweet The Show on the night of February 28, 2018 at Hyde Sunset, featuring a sneak peek of the pilot series that has been inciting laughter at festivals around the country.
Written, produced, and directed by Jon Harrison Taylor, Sweet the Show is an irreverent look at the tumultuous intersection of family and fame, featuring Mr. Taylor in the titular role of aging rock-god Nico Sweet, Lorynn York (Warner Brother's Roped) as the salty-sassy Samantha, and veteran comedian-actor Don Reed (a series regular on Amazon's Bartlett), adding hilarity in his supporting role as the drunken fashion designer known only as Shogun.
An episodic takedown of the male rock 'n' roll fantasy, the show was recently featured on Mandatory.com, a humor and entertainment site with over 9 million visitors a month.
Showcasing the series' video preview, which has garnered over 100 thousand views on Facebook, the series was given grounded praise by the editors, who admired the ability of Mr. Taylor to channel both the good and the bad of superstardom.
"There's nothing more down to earth than a British icon spoiled by success and scrambling to make things right, which is what you get with Sweet The Show."
On the heels of Mr. Taylor's appearances at several events throughout Los Angeles and New York, Sweet The Show is now slated for a private viewing meant for a select cadre of Hollywood's movers and shakers. Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails provided by Guillotine Vodka.
It will be a Sweet time, indeed.
