Heyer Performance Develops F&B Program Strategy For Co-Work/Co-Play/Childcare Space in Champaign, IL
Hospitality development experts integrate food and beverage program with brand experience platform at Lodgic Everyday Community project near University of Illinois.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill., March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Heyer Performance Inc. (HPI), a leading hospitality consultant for multi-use real estate and hotel owners nationwide, has introduced a hospitality-forward food & beverage strategy into the first-ever Lodgic Everyday Community, a new live/work concept that combines membership-based co-work, drop-in childcare, and flexible dining options under one roof, located at 1807 Neil Street in Champaign, Il.

"To make their vision a functional reality, we created a hospitality-forward brand-strategy that could tie in all of the services being offered."
The hospitality-centric F&B program fosters community and brings together the overall brand experience with a central kitchen that also serves the co-work and childcare facilities. The dining venues, which occupy a combined 5,500 square feet within the 28,000-square-foot center include the family-friendly, fast-casual Clever Moose Market Café and The Everyday Kitchen Restaurant and Bar, a full-service dining venue. In addition to serving as amenities for Lodgic Everyday Community members, the restaurants were developed to appeal to the general populations as convenient destinations for local business, residents, and visitors to the larger Champaign community.
HPI was initially brought into the project in the concept phase by brand strategy firm Signal CSK, the project developer for Moose International. The HPI team was engaged to develop the food & beverage concepts to support the brand and capitalize on the market opportunity. In addition, they provided market research, site assessments, and partnered on the strategic positioning, space programming, and experience path development.
On the financial side of the project, the HPI team developed hospitality-related feasibility studies, pro forma budgets, and investment scenarios. HPI's work also included design and facility advisory in collaboration with the BHDM Design team, which brought the new concept to life.
