WASHINGTON, Aug. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Higher Logic announced today that CEO and Co-Founder Rob Wenger is taking on a new role as executive chairman and has appointed Kevin Boyce as chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors, effective August 27, 2018. Boyce has more than 20 years of experience as a technology executive working to drive success for public and private sector customers around the globe.
Higher Logic has achieved significant growth and success over the last ten years. Its leadership position in the market enabled it to partner with JMI Equity in 2016 and successfully acquire four companies in 2017. This change, along with key senior hires over the last 18 months, supports the company's next phase of growth, while it continues to scale business operations, provide marketing-leading solutions, and deliver a premier customer experience.

Most recently, Boyce was chief operating officer at Ellucian, where over the last 10 years he played key roles in its success with customers, employees, and investors. During his tenure, Boyce successfully grew the business from 500 employees and $100 million in revenues to over 3,000 employees and over $750 million in global revenues. In 2010 and 2016, the Northern Virginia Technology Council of Greater Washington DC named Boyce the Private Company Chief Financial Officer of the Year, and in 2015 he was named a Trending 40: Top Tech Chief Financial Officer by Bisnow.
