As a general orthopedist with 30 years of experience, Dr. Jarman is trained in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and conditions of the extremities, including fracture care, joint dislocations/instability, tendon procedures, and arthritis procedures, including joint replacement.
A native of Missouri, Dr. Jarman completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and completed medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Jarman has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1996.
His extensive military service includes an internship in Aurora, Colorado, serving as a General Medical Officer near Nuremberg, Germany, Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and serving as a Staff Orthopedist at Fort Polk in West Central Louisiana.
Upon completing his military service, Dr. Jarman moved to Dearborn County, Indiana, where he practiced general orthopedics for 23 years including a solo practice for nearly 10 years.
Recently added to Advanced Bone & Joint's distinguished team of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, Dr. Jarman will be providing service at the practice's new Troy, Missouri office. In cooperation with the Mercy Health System, Dr. Jarman and the Troy office will be attending to the needs of patients in the local community as well as surrounding Lincoln, Pike and Warren Counties.
