BOULDER, Colo., July 13, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Minute Key, a division of Hillman Solutions (HLMN), today celebrates an historic milestone with its National Forest Foundation partnership. Through custom keys, donations at its kiosks and an employee drive, Minute Key worked with the NFF to plant one million trees.
Minute Key launched its Reforesting Project following the devastating wildfires that swept across the state to help rebuild the lives of those impacted. Since 2015, the project has raised more than one million dollars to support the National Forest Foundation. More than one million acres of United States land need reforestation and since the inception of the program, Minute Key has planted trees over approximately 5,100 acres of national forests in nine states.
Minute Key created a custom National Forest Foundation key and, for every two keys purchased, one tree was planted. To create awareness for the campaign, Minute Key partnered with environmentally conscious outdoor enthusiasts who encouraged their audiences to visit their local Minute Key kiosk and purchase the key.
