Historic Downtown Bethlehem Presents - 1st Ever Clash of the Carols
Historic Downtown Bethlehem will be having a caroling competition Saturday's in December. Each Saturday will have a different division and the winners will return for the championship round Dec. 21.
DOWNTOWN BETHLEHEM, Pa., Nov. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Yes the rumors are true! There is a choir competition coming to Historic Downtown Bethlehem! The Downtown Bethlehem Association, a Council of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is excited to present:
"Clash of the Carols" - an A Cappella Choral Competition in the Sun Inn Courtyard, with co-hosts: Lehigh Valley with Love. Saturdays in December, Downtown Bethlehem will be filled with joyful song from local and regional choirs. After competing, choirs will then proceed to the steps of Central Moravian Church to sing for all Downtown Bethlehem Guests.
Competition slots are still available. All adult/college, high school, and middle school choirs interested in participating can get the application at https://getdowntownbethlehem.com/clash-of-the-carols-2019/ All entries must be received by November 11, 2019.
Cash prizes will be awarded to division and overall winners.
COMPETITION DATES:
December 7th: Middle and High School Divisions
December 14th: College and Adult Divisions
December 21st: Finals
Clash of the Carols will have professional judges but there will be a WILD CARD voted by the audience! Voting for the competition will be available on http://www.getdowntownbethlehem.com and the Heart of Bethlehem Facebook page @GetDowntownBethlehem following each competition - viewing made possible by Lehigh Valley with Love. The People's Choice winner from each division will be brought back to compete in the Finals! We look forward to seeing you there.

The Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA) is a council of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and serves to revitalize, rehabilitate, promote and advance downtown business areas within the city of Bethlehem.
