As a Head of Sales and a member of the Executive Board, the experienced manager will continue to expand the sales strategy and activities of the fast-growing IoT startup.
Based in Landshut, Germany, HiveMQ develops infrastructure software for the Internet of Things (IoT). Dirk Pfefferle has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. During this time he has held various international management positions with well-known companies. Most recently he was Area Vice President Central and Eastern Europe and Managing Director of Citrix Systems Germany GmbH. Here he focused on, among other things, the transformation of the software license business towards the cloud.
At EMC Germany, Dirk Pfefferle was Area Manager Enterprise and member of the board responsible for the enterprise business in Germany. He and his management team transformed the classic hardware business into a mix of hardware and software and won numerous managed service projects. He was co-managing director of Verizon Germany and also served as Area Vice President for Verizon's business in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
Dirk Pfefferle has a broad network in industry, politics, young companies and private equity. He is active in the "Münchner Kreis", the leading independent platform providing orientation for decision makers in the digital worldMunich district as well as in the International Economic Senate (IWS). As the founder of the "Digitalization Summit", he drives dialogue among SMEs on innovation and future topics. For many years he has been mentoring young entrepreneurs free of charge in building up their business models.
