Hobsons, the leader in education technology, today announced the addition of Bobby Tahir to the senior leadership team as Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Tahir will be responsible for driving the overall technology operation and strategy across Hobsons’ portfolio of lifetime student success solutions, including Naviance, Intersect and Starfish. Mr. Tahir will oversee a team of software developers and engineers, lead product delivery and direct technology infrastructure, platform and security efforts.

Mr. Tahir has an extensive background in education technology, serving as Chief Technology Officer of the K12 division of Community brands, as well as serving in various senior level positions at Diamond Mind and the Envictus Corporation. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Physics.
