WATERLOO, Ontario, Oct. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HockeyTech announces HockeyTV Community Network, a brand-new platform for the youth and recreational market.
The Introduction of the HockeyTV Community Network marks the latest innovation of the HockeyTV platform, which streamed over 27,000 games last season for more than 30 leagues. The HockeyTV Community Network will stream an additional 40,000 games each year including youth rep leagues, minor hockey tournaments and recreational leagues from over 50 ice surfaces.

HockeyTV Community Network venues will feature ViPr cameras powered by Pixellot, an automated game broadcasting system that follows the play in real-time using artificial intelligence (A.I.). ViPr cameras installed at each venue take a 180-degree panoramic shot of the ice surface then automatically follow the play to simulate a camera operator. The broadcast also includes an automated score slug overlay so that viewers can see the score and time of the game. Fans can access the HockeyTV mobile app to give them the full panoramic view of the ice and follow the play by tilting or zooming their mobile device.
