Each semester, Hoggatt Injury law offers a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student whose life has been affected by their parent's work-related injury.
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Sept. 2, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hoggatt Injury Law is pleased to announce the winner of its Children of Injured Workers Scholarship for the Fall 2022 academic semester. Each semester, Hoggatt Injury law offers a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student whose life has been affected by their parent's work-related injury.
Téa Leone is the winner for the upcoming Fall 2022 semester. Téa is a junior at Pepperdine University who is preparing to head to Switzerland for a semester studying abroad. Her mother, a single parent with two disabled children, was severely and permanently injured in a serious car accident on her way to work one day. With her injuries, Téa's mother struggled to provide for the family in many ways, including providing for Téa's education.
Hoggatt Injury Law hopes that its Children of Injured Workers Scholarship will support Téa on her quest for a Master's degree in addition to supporting many other students in Téa's position.
