• 25 percent of retailers plan to hire more seasonal workers than they did in 2012.
• 78 percent of American workers would rather receive a great holiday gift than have an office party.
• 64 percent of Americans have called in sick or know someone who has missed a day of work due to a hangover after attending a holiday party.
• 72 percent of employers plan to award some type of year-end/holiday bonus.
• Boeing employees get to recharge with a winter recess between Christmas and New Year’s Day, but Yahoo employees no longer receive that week of rest.
