Company's new Authority offering publishes custom content under a loan officer's name, giving AI platforms credible sources to cite at the Point of Research™
SOLANA BEACH, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Vonk Digital, a leading website and content platform built exclusively for the mortgage industry, today announced the availability of Authority, a fully managed SEO and AI search visibility service designed specifically for loan officers, mortgage brokers, branches and independent mortgage companies.
Vonk Digital has operated and refined Authority with several mortgage professionals since March 2026. Today's announcement brings the service to market formally, after building out the publishing system, compliance controls and detailed reporting on the product's back end.
"Borrower research happens whether a mortgage professional participates or not," said Anthony Balsamo, Co-Founder of Vonk Digital. "What is changing across the industry landscape is where that research starts. First, a borrower asks an AI tool a question about local mortgage professionals, then finds a few names of service providers, then goes to Google to check their credentials. Google is not dead; it is step two."
Before Authority, lead generation work was typically split across vendors. Two of Vonk Digital clients recently moved their content programs onto Authority after paying multiple outside agencies between $2,500 and $4,000 a month for content alone, on websites Vonk Digital already hosted. Authority starts at $497 per month and includes the website it runs on. It is designed to operate without forcing the mortgage professional to be a content creator; clients simply select markets and specialties once at onboarding, and the system publishes content from there.
Vonk's Authority combines traditional (SEO) with answer engine optimization (AEO), an emerging discipline focused on making information easier for AI-powered search and answer systems to understand, retrieve and potentially cite.
How it works: The Authority product publishes original content under each client's name, several times a week, based on the markets, loan programs and borrower niches selected during onboarding. It includes niche-targeted articles, unique loan-program pages, state and city market pages, internal linking, and structured data that identifies the author as a licensed mortgage professional, including their NMLS number.
Because the content is published in a regulated industry, each article passes through an automated compliance check designed to flag mortgage advertising and fair lending issues. The user remains responsible for their own advertising compliance.
Clients receive an insights dashboard designed to show when AI systems crawl their website and when their content appears as a cited source. "The engines are not mysterious," Balsamo said. "They want clear, credible information from a real, identifiable expert. Vonk gives them what they need to continually build their client roster."
Vonk Digital also cautions mortgage professionals against treating AEO as a shortcut to guaranteed rankings or leads.
"Anyone promising they can guarantee ChatGPT recommendations or AI-generated leads is not being straight with you," Balsamo said. "There is no magic switch. What Authority does is consistently publish useful, original information, structure it so machines can understand it, build up the authority around a professional's areas of expertise, pivot as best practices change, and measure what we can actually see happening."
Authority runs on Vonk Digital's mortgage website platform, which provides the website, mortgage calculators, lead capture, hosting, security, analytics, integrations and ongoing support from a U.S.-based team. The combination allows a mortgage professional to manage their website, traditional search visibility, content and emerging AI search presence through a single provider focused exclusively on the mortgage industry.
"What I really like about Vonk's Authority offering is that it helps us consistently build our online presence without having to become experts in content, SEO, or the constantly changing world of AI search. The content is built around our market, our expertise, and our voice, so it actually feels relevant to the people we're trying to reach. Today, simply having a website isn't enough. You have to make it easy for people to find you, understand what you do, and see why they should trust you. Authority helps us do that consistently," said Wade Betz, Chief Strategy Officer at Mpire Financial.
