Home Health and Hospice of Kansas has partnered with telehealth company, Health Recovery Solutions (HRS), to provide remote patient monitoring to patients with COPD, CHF, and cancer who are at high risk for hospitalization.

Home Health & Hospice of Kansas decided to partner with HRS because of the user-friendly software that allows for easy networking between the telehealth clinician, the patient, and the physician. Patients placed on the telehealth program with Home Health & Hospice of Kansas are provided with 4G tablets pre-loaded with the HRS software. The tablets are paired with Bluetooth biometric devices that allow patients to take their blood pressure, weight, heart rate, and more. The physiological data automatically transmits to the tablet and is electronically delivered to the telehealth nurse, allowing clinical staff to address any abnormalities or changes in medical status in a timely manner.
