SavvySigns™ provides home buyers with information on any home for sale in seconds without having to download an app or make a call, and all without unwanted phone calls or advertising.

Unlike 3rd party listing portals, SavvySigns does not sell a consumer’s contact info to competing agents or businesses, so consumers don’t receive unwanted, unsolicited phone calls or advertising.

SavvyCard®, a St. Petersburg, FL based internet technology company and a member of the CoreLogic® (NYSE: CGLX) Alliance Network, and TRIAD MLS, the multiple listing service servicing the entire Piedmont Triad and Foothills area of North Carolina real estate market, today announced the release of SavvySigns™, a new service that makes it easy for consumers to get accurate, factual information on homes for sale via a simple, universal text back number.

The SavvySigns service works for any home for sale in a participating market and uses Geo Location to deliver relevant information to the consumer. It requires no app. Consumers simply need to be near a property for sale and, using a text enabled device, text “HOME” to 72889. They’ll immediately receive a text message with a link to a web app for that property that includes photos, features, amenities, price, square footage, location map and school ratings. This web app (called a Property SavvyCard™) is delivered directly through the smartphone’s web browser, reducing the amount of time and effort required to get to the desired information.

SavvySigns keeps the consumer’s personally identifiable information (or “PII”) private unless the consumer chooses to request a showing or more information, at which point SavvySigns may provide their information to the listing broker and connects them with the listing agent, who knows the most about the property.

Because some people who request information may just be “curious neighbors”, this saves Realtors time by only sending them leads from buyers with real interest and allows consumers to control if and when they want to be contacted by an agent about a home for sale.

Realtors let prospective buyers know about the SavvySigns™ service by adding a rider to their standard Real Estate signs. The same sign rider, “For Info on This Property Text HOME to 72889”, works for every listing. Other text enabled services offered in the market today have to be setup and maintained and require a unique Keyword and sign rider for every individual listing.

“Other than adding an inexpensive sign rider to my existing For Sale signs, I didn’t have to lift a finger to set SavvySigns up for all of my listings,” says Shelly Hartman, a prolific listing agent in Winston Salem, NC. “I just walked out and tried SavvySigns in front of one of my listings and it worked. Easy peasy.”

By adding a rider to their For Sale signs, agents are preserving their own leads, too.

“Often when a consumer sees a For Sale sign and wants more info, they go to a third-party app instead of calling the listing agent from the sign,” says David Etheredge, CEO of SavvyCard. “This means that the listing agent’s For Sale sign is effectively creating free leads for someone else.
