Horizon University, Lawrence Township, Indianapolis, Celebrates Its Official Grand Opening and Welcomes All to Join for the Ribbon-Cutting on Wednesday, November 7, 1PM

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- November 7, 2018 marks the official Grand Opening of Horizon University, the only university domiciled in Lawrence, IN. The celebration will begin with a lunch, followed by the official Grand Opening celebration on the Horizon South Campus at 7700 Indian Lake Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46236.

Presiding over the ceremony will be Chairman of the Board and President Emeritus, Pastor Bill Goodrich, along with current President Dr. Randall Dodge. Joining Bill and Randall as featured guests are Lawrence Mayor Steve Collier and Dr. Mike MacIntosh, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Horizon University. Also expected in attendance will be other leaders from the community.

In June 2017, the ABHE Commission on Accreditation approved the move to Indianapolis for Horizon University. This move marked the beginning of a rebrand and rebuilding process for the University. Dr. Mike MacIntosh shared that 'this move to the Indianapolis Campus allows for the future growth of Horizon University for both its students as well as future programs and offerings.'
Founded in 1994, Horizon University is fully accredited and offers degree programs in leadership for both ministry and marketplace minded individuals. In addition to celebrating the official launch of Horizon University in Lawrence, Horizon will also be celebrating the grand opening of it's recently completed library facility. The new library will offer students access to thousands of volumes of research and support materials.
