Housecall Pro Teams Up with Amazon Alexa to Offer New Hands-Free Experience for Home Services Professionals

Housecall Pro has released a new way for home service technicians and business owners to manage jobs on the go using voice activated technology.

From texting your customers to navigating to your next job, now you can manage your Housecall Pro account through any mobile or Amazon Alexa-enabled device.

“Voice activated functionality enables our customers to do work in their mobile offices on the road and out in the field when their hands are already occupied with their tools.

Housecall Pro – the leading software platform for home service professionals – and Amazon Alexa – the cloud-based voice service from Amazon – are enabling home service technicians and business owners to manage jobs on the go, using their voice. With the new Housecall Pro skill for Alexa and a compatible device, Housecall Pro home service technicians and business owners can now use Alexa to:

  • Get the details of their next job, such as the time, customer name, and address.
  • Send a hands-free text to let customers know they’re on the way
  • Get directions to their next jobsite without taking their hands off the wheel.
